Add and edit shapes

Shapes can help express your brand, guide the eye, or connect ideas. You can customize them by adding text, adjusting borders, colors, size, and corners.

Ways to use shapes:

  • Combine them to build backgrounds or supporting graphics
  • Add text to create callouts or labels
  • Connect them with lines to create flowcharts

You’ll find a wide range of shapes in the

Elements tab, including:

Lines, Basic shapes, Polygons, Stars, Arrows, Flowchart shapes, Speech bubbles, Clouds, Hearts, Banners, Teardrops, Cogs, Square stars, Organic shapes, Abstract shapes

Shapes are available to Free, Canva Pro, Canva Teams, Canva Enterprise, Canva Education, and Canva for Nonprofits users.
