I can’t log in to my Canva account using my school email

With Google implementing age-based access settings, students who are:

• under the age of 18
• and have joined Canva with an email address set up with Google for Education

won’t be able to access Canva with their school email address until their school’s IT administrator configures access for the account.

To regain access, here’s what you can do.

Reach out to your teacher or your school’s IT administrator and let them know you can’t access your Canva account. You may share this article with them for the steps to solve the issue.

To make sure there'll be no access issues for students in your school, install the Canva Marketplace app for your Google Workspace domain.

1. In the Admin console, go to Menu > Apps > Google Workspace Marketplace apps.
2. Click on INSTALL APP.
3. Search for Canva, then click Admin install.

Don’t worry if you see more than one Canva app in your Google App Launcher. It only means that your school admin has successfully installed the Canva Marketplace app for your Google Workspace domain.

You can use any of the installed Canva apps to launch Canva.

If you’ve tried the steps above and still can’t log in using your school email, check with your IT admin first, as they can likely help you regain access.
