I can’t log in with multi-factor authentication (MFA)

My authenticator app isn't generating a code

1. Sync your device time — go to your date/time settings and turn on automatic sync. Authenticator codes rely on accurate time.
2. Restart the app or your device — this clears most temporary glitches.
3. Check your account setup — make sure your Canva account is added correctly in the app and you're using the right entry.
4. Update or reinstall the app — if nothing else works, uninstall, reinstall, and set up login verification again in your Canva account settings.

I'm getting a "code is incorrect" error

1. Wait for a fresh code — codes refresh every 30 seconds. Let the current one expire and enter the new one immediately.
2. Check your device time — if codes keep failing, make sure your date and time are set to sync automatically.
