Disable or enable team apps
Administrators can manage who can access released apps.
Choose who can use an app
- On the homepage, select your account profile to open the menu.
- Select Settings.
- From the side menu, select Apps.
- Open the Manage tab.
- Search for the app you want to update.
- On the app, select the (more) menu, then select Override access.
- Under Who can use this app?, choose an option:
- Everyone
- Team admins and Team brand designers
- Team admins only
- No one (disables the app for everyone)
- Select Save (if prompted).
If you set an app to No one, the app will be unavailable to everyone in your team. To allow access again, change Who can use this app to a less restrictive option.
About overrides
If an app has an individual access override, it may stay in place even if you change the category settings in the Access tab. To make the category setting apply, remove or update the override in the Manage tab.
During rollout, some admins may still see Apps and integrations temporarily while apps are migrated into the new Apps experience.
