Find and replace text in your design
Quickly update repeated text, like a product name, date, or brand term, across your design. Use Find and replace to edit multiple text elements at once.
Important: Text inside locked elements won't update. Unlock them first to make changes.
Replace text in your design
- Open your design.
- Go to the File menu and select Find and replace text, or use the shortcut: Ctrl + F (Windows) or Command + F (Mac).
- In the Find field, type the text you want to change.
- Use the arrows to review each match.
- In the Replace with field, enter the new text.
- Optional: Check Match case to match the exact letter casing.
- Choose:
- Replace to update one at a time
- Replace all to update all matches across the design
Tip: Use the arrows to review each match before selecting Replace all. It updates text across every page.
