Import Statista data into Canva

Easily bring Statista data into Canva Sheets to analyze industry trends, consumer behavior, and market forecasts—all in one place.

1. Open a Canva Sheets design.
2. In the floating toolbar, click Actions, then select Import data.
3. Choose Statista from the available data sources.
4. Use the search bar to enter keywords or phrases that describe the data you’re looking for. (Optional: Click Inspire Me to generate a sample search prompt or use filters to refine results by region, industry, or time frame.)
5. Below the search bar, you’ll see options to explore sample datasets or preview premium reports.
6. Select the dataset you’d like to import.
7. Click Load data to preview your selection.
8. Click Done to add the data to your Canva Sheet.

Note: Ensure you have an active Statista subscription to access premium datasets.

Once connected, you can choose specific datasets to work with.

1. In the Statista Data Import panel, search for market research reports using keywords or suggested prompts.
2. Choose a dataset related to consumer behavior, industry trends, or economic forecasts.
3. (Optional) Use filters to refine your data selection.
4. Click Load data to preview your selection.
5. Click Done to import the data into your Canva Sheet.

You’ll need the necessary permissions set in to grant Canva access to Salesforce in order to access data via the APIs. Contact your Statista admin if you encounter issues.

Yes! Select Edit data, then Refresh to update your data in real-time.

Once you import the data, anyone who can access your Canva design will be able to see it. They don’t need a Statista account to view the data. But they'll need one to refresh or update it.

If someone refreshes the data using their own Statista account, the results might vary depending on what they’re allowed to access in Statista.

No—anything you change in Canva won’t change your data in Statista. The data only comes into Canva, not the other way around.
