If you start a new Canva Business subscription on or after 1 September, 2026, access to Leonardo.Ai Essential plan will not be included. You can still access Leonardo.Ai’s Free plan, with 150 tokens available each day.

Key updates for existing Canva Business subscribers
If you're an existing Canva Business subscriber who signed up before 9 September, 2026 (23:59 UTC), your Leonardo.Ai Essential access will end on 11 October, 2026 (23:59 UTC). You can still access Leonardo.Ai’s Free plan, with 150 tokens available each day.

Why we're making this change
Unfortunately, some people have used this access fraudulently. This update is part of our ongoing work to prevent misuse of AI services. We know this isn’t how most people use Leonardo.Ai, and we’re sorry this change affects you too.

Yes, you can still sign in to Leonardo.Ai with your Canva account.
How can I top up Leonardo.Ai tokens?
To top up, you can purchase extra tokens or upgrade to a higher tier (Essential, Premium, Ultimate) directly through the Leonardo.Ai platform.
Will I lose any designs or images I've already created on Leonardo.Ai?
No. Designs or images you’ve created remain yours and will be unaffected.
I'm currently on a Canva Free plan. If I upgrade to Canva Business on September 1st, will I still have access to the Leonardo Essential plan?
