Manage offline designs and storage

Manage your offline designs, free up space on your device, and keep offline editing running smoothly.

Understand offline storage

  • Offline designs are saved on your device and stored per device
  • You can work offline for up to 7 days before reconnecting
  • Your changes are saved locally and sync when you reconnect
  • We recommend keeping at least 2 GB of free space for offline editing

Free up space on your device

If you’re running low on storage, you can remove offline designs without deleting them from your Canva account.

Remove individual designs

  1. Go to canva.com/offline-designs.
  2. Select ⋯ More on the design you want to remove.
  3. Select Remove offline availability.

Remove all offline designs

  1. Go to Settings from your profile menu.
  2. Select Data and storage, then select Offline.
  3. Choose one of the following:
    • Remove offline designs - removes all offline designs from your device.
    • Delete all offline data - removes all offline designs and content from your device. It also removes other files Canva saves to help offline features work.

Removing offline access doesn't delete your designs, they'll still be saved to your Canva account online.

  • Remove offline designs you don’t need
  • Check your device storage settings for recommendations
