Manage and disconnect domains


Manage all of your domains in one place.

For teams, managing domains is only available to administrators and owners. But team members can still see the list of connected domains.

We're rolling out navigation changes gradually, so some steps in this Help article may not accurately reflect what you see in the app. If you can't find Canva AI, your profile photo, or your Print cart on the homepage, go to

Manage and disconnect domains

  1. On the homepage, select your account profile to open menu.
  2. Choose
    Settings.
  3. From the side menu, select
    Web domains.
  4. Select
    next to the domain you want to manage.
  5. To delete a Canva domain, select Remove.
  6. To refresh your third-party domain's DNS settings, select Refresh.
  7. To disconnect your third-party domain from Canva, select Remove.

Domains managed by Canva

This lists your free and purchased domains via Canva.

By default, purchased domains automatically renew annually. If you want to cancel auto-renew, toggle it to off. Once turned off, you can still use your domain for the paid duration.

Click or tap Manage on a domain for options. If there are websites published to it, they’ll be listed on the page. Click or tap the

(Actions) button next to the designs to unlink from the domain, edit the design, or view the website.

Canva is a reseller of Tucows domains. Domains purchased through Canva are subject to Tucows’ refund policies. Learn more about Domain refunds.

Update the contact details associated with your domain

Under Contact details, click Edit. You’ll be prompted to update your contact information, including your name, physical address, email address, and contact number. Click Save.

Manage third-party domains

These are connected domains that you purchased from other providers.

Next to the domain, click

.

If there are websites published to it, they’ll be listed on the page. Click or tap the

(Actions) button next to the designs for more options.

Refresh DNS settings

Click Refresh to refresh the domain’s DNS settings status.

Set a default domain

Brand Admins can set a default domain to help their team publish to the correct domain every time. The default domain will be automatically selected when a team member publishes a new website.

To set a default domain:

  1. Go to Settings, then select Web Domains
  2. Under the Default domain section, select the dropdown and select the domain you want to use as the default.
  3. To remove the default selection, choose None from the dropdown.

Note: Team members can still select a different domain if needed.

Disconnect domains

Click Remove to remove it from Canva.
