Merge accounts or teams
There’s no direct way of merging accounts or teams. But as a workaround, you can share designs so you can access them from different accounts.
Sharing designs to transfer ownership
Decide which Canva account or team you want to keep. Share the designs that you want to keep or transfer to your preferred account or team, and make copies of them from there. See this article for the more detailed steps.
Canva Pro or Canva Teams plans can’t be transferred. Transfer your designs to your Canva Pro or Canva Teams account to keep using premium features.
This is optional but after you’ve transferred the designs, you can delete the other account or delete the other team – if you own it.
What’s the difference between an account and a team?
Your Canva account is connected to your registered email. If you use different email addresses to log in to Canva, it means that you have more than one Canva account.
You can also add people to a team so you can collaborate and share designs with them. One account can create or be a part of several teams.

- From the homepage, select your profile icon.
- Under Teams, hover or select the current team.
- Select arrow right icon. You’ll see all the teams you’re part of and a check icon beside the team you’re currently on.
- Select the team you want to switch to.
