You can also add an interactive layer to your presentations by setting up Canva Live. Canva Live lets your audience ask you questions while you present.

Live edits during a presentation

While presenting, edits made in the editor are shown in real-time. The presentation will refresh each time an edit is made while still showing the slide you left off.

To disable this, here's how to:

  1. Select
    More.
  2. Select
Hide live edits to disable showing real-time edits.

While presenting, click the Go to page button in the bottom left corner and type the slide number you want to present.

See presenter notes in Remote Control

You can now see your presenter notes when you use Remote Control to present a design.

Access presenter notes

  1. Sign in to your Canva account to access presenter notes.
  2. Your account must have permission to view the design being presented.
  3. If someone else is presenting, the design owner must give you view permission through the Share menu.
  4. If the design is shared at the team level, you might need to switch teams to access the design.

What happens if you’re signed out?

  • If you open Remote Control without signing in, the Notes panel will show a message with a button to log in.
  • You don’t have to sign in to control slide navigation or use the Shortcuts tab.
  • You only need to sign in to view notes because that requires permission to access the design.
