Sign a Canva Signature request

If someone asks you to sign a document through Canva, you'll receive an email with a link to review and sign it. You don't need a Canva account to sign.

Keep these points in mind:

• Your name, email address, and signing records are visible to people who have access to the document.
• Make sure you meet the age requirements, have the authority to sign, and follow any other legal requirements that apply to you, including on behalf of anyone you represent.
• Keep your signing link private.

If someone sent you a document to sign through Canva, you can review and sign it from the email link. You don't need a Canva account.For details on how your information is handled, see Canva's Privacy Policy. Contact the requestor if you want to know how they handle your information.

1. Open the email you received and select the link to review the document.
2. Review the document.
   • Review and agree to Canva's eSignature Terms before continuing.
3. Select each field assigned to you and complete it (signature, date, or text).
4. When you've completed all your fields, select Confirm and sign.

Note: You won’t be able to edit the document.

After signing, select Download signed PDF to save a copy. You'll also receive a completion email with a link to the signed document.

If you have a Canva account, you can find your signed documents in Projects, under Signature Requests. You can also access them via the link in your completion email.

If you don't have a Canva account, download a copy of the signed document using the link in your completion email.

Once everyone has signed, you'll receive an email with a link to the completed document.Make sure to download and keep a copy for your records.

Electronic signature requirements vary depending on the jurisdiction and type of document. Some documents or jurisdictions may have specific requirements. If you're unsure what applies, consider getting independent legal advice.

You can leave the signature request unsigned. If you'd like the request to be canceled, ask the sender to withdraw it from their Signature Requests folder.

Once everyone has signed, you'll receive a completion email with a link to the document. Download a copy for your records.
