Star content for your team
Star or bookmark designs, folders, and templates to increase their visibility for your team’s use.
Available to Canva Teams, Canva Enterprise, and Canva Education users.
Only team owners, administrators, or brand designers can star content for the whole team or school. For Canva Education users, team administrators can also star lessons or courses.
Star designs for your team
From the homepage
- From the Recent designs, hover over the design you want to star.
- Select More icon.
- Select Star for team.
- From the left side panel, look for Recent designs. Hover over the design you want to star.
- Select More icon.
- Select Star for team.
From the Projects tab
- From the homepage side navigation, select Projects.
- Under All projects, you can view all of your team’s designs and folders. Scroll to the Designs section.
- Hover over the design that you want to star.
- Select More icon that appears on the design thumbnail.
- Select Star for team.
Star folders for your team
- On the homepage side navigation, go to Projects.
- Go to the Folders tab.
- Hover over the folder that you want to star, then select More icon.
- Select Star for team.
Star Brand Templates for your team
- From the homepage side navigation, go to the Brand tab.
- Go to Brand Templates section.
- Hover over the brand template that you want to star.
- Select More.
- Select Star for team.
View your team's starred content
Starred content will only be visible to team members who already have access to team designs and folders. The Starred tab isn’t currently available on the mobile Home screen. You can still access your starred designs, folders, brand templates, and elements from the editor by opening a design.
For designs and folders
- From the homepage side navigation, select Templates tab. If you don’t see Templates, hover over More, then select Templates.
- Select Starred content.
- Under Starred for team, you can view your team's starred content.
For Brand Templates
- From the homepage side navigation, select Brand tab.
- Scroll down and look for the Starred for team section to access your starred brand templates.
Unstar your team’s starred content
Team owners, administrators, or brand designers can unstar content if they’re no longer necessary.
For designs and folders
- From the homepage side navigation, go to the Starred for Team section.
- Hover over the design or folder you want to unstar.
- Select the More icon on the design or folder you want to unstar.
- Select Unstar for team.
For Brand Templates
- From the homepage, go to the Brand tab.
- Scroll down and look for the Starred for team section.
- Hover over the brand template you want to unstar.
- Select More icon.
- Select Unstar for team.
