Unpublishing websites
Unpublishing your website unlinks it from your domain so it can’t be visited anymore.
If you want to limit who can visit your website instead, you can turn on password protection.
Unpublish from the Canva editor
- Select the arrow next to Publish Changes.
- Select Settings, then select Unpublish.
- In the pop-up, select Unpublish website.
We're rolling out navigation changes gradually, so some steps in this Help article may not accurately reflect what you see in the app. If you can't find Canva AI, your profile photo, or your Print cart on the homepage, go to More.
Unpublish from Account settings
- From the homepage, select your account profile to open the menu, then select Settings.
- From the side panel, select Web domains.
- Next to the domain where the design is published, select View.
- Next to the design that you want to unpublish, select the (Actions) button.
- Select Unpublish.
What if I delete my design?
If your design is live on a domain, you’ll be asked to confirm if you want to continue deleting it. It’ll then be unpublished once it’s deleted.
