Create a team

Create a team in Canva Business to share designs, folders, add comments, and manage shared content together. Start by upgrading to Canva Business.

A Canva Business subscription allows you to create one team per account. To create multiple teams, upgrade to Canva Enterprise and then learn how to add a new team as an organization admin.

• You can have up to 100 people in your team. 
• If you need more than 100 people, contact our Sales team.
• If your team is full, you'll need to purchase more seats to add people. A seat is one person on your Canva Business plan.
• Create groups within teams to organize members.
• Learn how to manage team members.

Only Canva Enterprise and Canva for District subscriptions support multiple teams. Learn how to create a team in an organization.

You can add people as needed. Canva Business allows you to purchase up to 100 seats online; for teams over 100 people, please contact our sales team. You can also create groups inside teams.

For Canva for Nonprofits, you can have one team of up to 50 members for free. Additional seats are 50% off on Canva Enterprise.  Get in touch with our Sales team to get started.

You can invite team members from the mobile app if you subscribed before October 2025. When you reach your limit, you'll receive a notification. If you want to add more members, cancel your Apple or Google subscription and upgrade through the web or mobile browser.
