Fix an issue with your Canva Print order
If your print order arrived damaged, the colors look different from your design, or it was trimmed incorrectly, here's what to do.
Before you contact us
Some print issues come from the design itself, not the printing process. Check your original design first to rule this out.
- Color difference: Screens display colors in RGB. Print uses CMYK. Some colour shifts are normal, especially for bright or vibrant tones. Understand more about CMYK printing and color shift.
- Trimming: Items near the edge of your design may be cropped during production. Use the bleed and safety zones when designing for print. Learn about margins, bleed, and crop marks.
- Image quality: Low-resolution images print blurry. Make sure your images were at least 300 DPI at print size. Learn how to fix blurry prints.
To help avoid issues on future orders, proof your design before placing a print order. You can also check the quality of your designs and prints before ordering.

What to expect
Once you've submitted your issue, our team reviews the photos and order details. Depending on the issue, we'll offer one of the following:
- Reprint: We'll resend your order at no cost if the issue was caused during production.
- Refund: We'll issue a full or partial refund if a reprint isn't possible.
- Design guidance: If the issue came from the original design, we'll explain how to fix it before reordering.
Common print problems
My item arrived damaged
Photograph the damage before opening the packaging fully. Include a photo of the packaging itself if it shows signs of damage in transit. Report the issue within 30 days of delivery.
The colors look different from my design
Colors on screen (RGB) differ from printed colors (CMYK). Some variation is expected. However, if the colors are significantly wrong — for example, a red logo printing as orange — this may be a production issue. Learn more about CMYK printing and colour shift. Submit clear photos alongside your original design file when contacting us.
My design was trimmed incorrectly
All print products have a trim zone where the paper is cut. Elements placed too close to the edge may be cropped. Use print dynamic guides when setting up your design, and review margins, bleed, and crop marks to keep key elements within the safe zone.
My order has missing items
Check your order confirmation to see if items were shipped separately. If everything should have arrived together and something is missing, contact us with your order number.
