Manage your privacy preferences

We understand the importance of safeguarding your data during online activity. Canva lets you easily view and control your personal privacy settings.

We're rolling out navigation changes gradually, so some steps in this Help article may not accurately reflect what you see in the app. If you can't find Canva AI, your profile photo, or your Print cart on the homepage, go to

More.

  1. From the homepage, go to your Profile icon.
  2. Choose
    Your account, then select
    Privacy controls.
  3. Read the description of each permission. Select Learn more to visit our Trust Center.
  4. Use the toggle to enable or disable permissions.

If a preference has a lock icon, this means you can't change this preference. See below for information on why this may be the case.

Why can’t I change my preferences?

There are some preferences that can’t be turned on because you’re part of a managed team, or due to your account type. These are marked with a lock icon on your settings page.

Organization-level privacy controls (for admins only)

Admins can enable our support team to access their designs for support and troubleshooting purposes when shared by team members.

  1. From the homepage, go to your Account Profile.
  2. Select
    Settings
  3. Scroll to find Security section.
  4. Select
    Data and Privacy tab.
  5. Use the toggle to enable or disable permissions.
  • Allow team members to temporarily share affected designs with Canva Support: This allows team members to share designs with Canva Support when requesting help, making it easier to resolve issues.
  • When this setting is turned off, team members cannot share their designs with Canva Support.

To opt out of updates and offers from Canva, go to

Message preferences tab. Learn more about managing email subscriptions and mobile notifications.
