Publish to Microsoft Teams

Assign Canva designs directly to your Microsoft Teams class. Your students will receive the assignment in Microsoft Teams and can edit and submit their work without leaving Canva.

Publish designs to Microsoft Teams for your class:

1. From the Canva editor, select Assign.
2. In the dropdown under Assign method, select Microsoft Teams, then Continue.
3. If you haven’t linked your Microsoft Teams account yet, you’ll be prompted to do so. Select Continue to proceed, then select the account you want to link with Canva. 
4. Select the class, enter the assignment due date, and optionally add instructions for students.
5. Select Assign.

Your students will see the assignment in their Microsoft Teams Assignments tab.

When you publish an assignment, your students will receive an email notification. They can complete the assignment in Canva and submit it via Microsoft Teams as well.

If you can't see Microsoft Teams as an option, make sure you're signed into a Canva Education account. Your school admin may also need to authorize the Microsoft Teams integration first.

Currently, you can assign to one class at a time. To assign to another class, repeat the steps and select a different class.
