Edit your presentation
Use the Page Editor to improve layout, adjust formatting, and enhance your slides, all in one place.
Open the Edit Page panel
- Open your presentation.
- Select the background or the thumbnail of the page you want to edit.
- From the floating toolbar, select Edit. This opens the Edit Page panel.
From here, you can:
- Use tools like Decorate, Resize, Magic Background, Translate, and Bulk Create.
- Apply layouts and styles.

- Decorate - Add styled elements that match your design
- Resize - Change your page to a different size or format
- Magic BG - Create or refresh your slide background
- Translate - Convert your text into another language
- Bulk Create - Generate multiple slides from a data source
Change layout
Rearrange your slide with a layout that fits your content. For more details about layouts, see Use Layouts.
Choose a style
Apply color and font combinations across your slides. See Find color palettes and font combinations for detailed steps.

FAQs
Why don’t I see Layouts or Styles in the editor?
Layouts and Styles are part of the Edit Page panel, which only appears when a page is selected. If a page is not selected, these options won’t be visible.
If you’ve used Canva before, note that Styles and Layouts are now located in the Edit Page panel instead of the Design or Templates tabs.
