Connect your Canva account to Claude
Connect your Canva account to Claude to access supported Canva capabilities from Claude. The connection uses Canva’s AI Connector.
Before you start
- Make sure you’re signed in to the correct Canva account.
- Claude mobile support may be available depending on your app/device.
- You may be asked to sign in and authorize Canva during setup.
Connect your Canva account to Claude
- Open Claude and go to Settings.
- Select Connectors.
- Find Canva in the list and select it.
- Follow the prompts to connect your Canva account.
- Start a new chat and select (settings icon).
- In the Connectors section, toggle Canva on.
Confirm Canva is connected
To check that Canva is connected:
- In Claude Settings → Connectors, confirm Canva shows as connected.
- In a chat’s settings, confirm Canva is toggled on.
Manage your Canva connection in Claude
Turn Canva on/off for a chat
- Start a new chat and select the (settings icon).
- In Connectors, toggle Canva on or off.
Manage permissions/tools (if available in your Claude settings)
- In Claude, open your integrations/tools settings and adjust Canva tool access as needed.
Disconnect your Canva account from Claude
To temporarily disable Canva in a chat:
- Start a new chat and select the (settings icon).
- In the Connectors section, toggle Canva off.
To completely disconnect your account:
- Go to Settings and select Connectors.
- Find Canva and select (more icon).
- Choose Disconnect and confirm.
Troubleshoot connecting Canva to Claude
Canva is connected, but not available in a chat
- Start a new chat and make sure Canva is toggled on in the chat’s connector settings.
Connection worked before but stopped
- Disconnect Canva in Claude, then reconnect it.
