Manage your content

To maintain our high-quality standards, we regularly review content in the Canva library. Occasionally, we may need to update or remove content that doesn’t align with quality standards, our Acceptable Use Policy, or Intellectual Property Policy.

The My Items section of the Creator Hub is a powerful tool designed to help you effectively manage and maintain your content. With the Edit Needed filter, you can easily identify submissions that require updates. This allows you to focus on making necessary edits and ensuring your templates remain live in the library. 

When elements are removed from the Canva library, templates containing those elements need to be updated. You can identify these templates on your My Items page.

1. From Home, on the side panel, select Creators.
2. On the side panel, select
   My Items.
3. Select the
   Templates dropdown and filter templates by Edit Needed to display them sorted by usage in descending order.
4. Open a template from the results.
5. Select Publish template to open Template Assistant.
6. The editor will highlight any elements (media, audio, video, or font), and Template Assistant will show a Remove or replace error message.
7. Replace media with one of the similar recommendations shown within Template Assistant, or choose your preference.
8. Replace any font, video, and audio highlighted in the editor with your preference.
9. Resubmit your template for review.
