Presenting your slideshow

When you’re giving a presentation, the best way to keep your audience engaged is through the use of creative slides that clearly communicate your message. By using a few design principles for your next presentation, you’ll be sure to captivate your audience with ease.

If you’re working with a team for your next presentation, Canva’s Collaborate feature provides you with a link to share with the members in your group and allows numerous people to edit the design, making collaboration on projects easier than ever. No more emailing back and forth about small changes—just make them yourself!

Once complete, press Publish and then Present. You will be given an option to pay for any premium elements used within the slides, and then you are able to present as a full-screen slideshow. You can also choose whether you would like to click and change slides manually or turn on Autoplay for an automatic flow of your slides while you talk.

With over 3,000 presentation templates to choose from, you’re bound to find a design that you can personalize for your needs.

Share directly to your social channels

It’s no secret that social media is a great tool for expanding your network, and Canva is now making it easier to instantly share what you’re working on with your followers. Once you’ve connected your account to Canva, you are now able to post directly into a Facebook group, page, or onto your profile.

If you’re a Canva Pro subscriber, our Magic Switch tool allows you to easily adapt your design to any size for varying social platforms. You can then publish directly to Facebook, X (Twitter), Linkedin or Pinterest, so you can be in all places at once.

Alternatively, you can download the post in your chosen format and upload it to your social channels at a later time.

If you’re looking to be more strategic with how you post on social platforms, we also now offer a scheduling service for Canva Pro subscribers that allows you to roster your posts at popular times throughout the day—so now you don’t have to be permanently attached to your phone. Canva Schedule is a tool that allows you to design now and post later, giving you an around-the-clock social media presence without the hassle.

Print it and ship it

While you can share anything on the web these days and interact with someone in seconds, there is still something so special about having a physical invite, or card within your grasp. When it comes to printing your design, there are a few options you can try.

If you’d like to print your design using your own printer, open the PDF document you wish to print, look for the print button and select your printer model. Make sure to set your printer settings to the 100% scale to ensure your designs will print at the intended size.

Or, in case you missed it, Canva now offers printing services and will deliver your designs to your door in the US, Australia, Canada, Europe, Mexico, and New Zealand (with more destinations on their way). Once you’ve created a design, you can choose to print it as a business card, flyer, invite, poster or A4 layout. Next, you can choose paper quality, the number of prints you require and shipping options. Below are just a few designs our Canva users have printed.
